Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Focus by MoreProductive service (the “Service”) operated by Driftwood Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Focus by MoreProductive is a productivity application that helps individuals manage tasks and stay focused. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at privacy@moreproductive.io if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

You may not share your account with others or create accounts by automated means.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure;
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the Service;
  • use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or any harmful content.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are stated in the currency shown at checkout and are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to paid features until that date.

We may change subscription pricing at any time. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any price changes. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload through the Service (such as tasks, notes, or other data). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

7. Intellectual property

The Service and all associated software, designs, text, and trademarks are the property of Driftwood Labs or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our brand names, logos, or intellectual property other than as necessary to use the Service as intended.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Driftwood Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your actions may cause harm to us or other users. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
